Ceremony:
Our wedding ceremony will be held at the
Lakewood Cemetery Chapel. Yes, it's in a cemetery. No, we're not getting married there because
it's a cemetery - it just happens to be one of the most gorgeous structures we've ever seen.
Built in 1909, the chapel's interior is an artistic masterpiece of Byzantine-style mosaic-work. The chapel
dome is 65 feet high and ringed with stained glass windows that serve as a sundial telling the time of day
and the season.
Nestled between Lake Calhoun and Lake Harriet in the Uptown district of Minneapolis, the cemetery is located
at the corner of W 36th Street and Hennepin Avenue South.

Reception:
The reception will take place following the ceremony at 4244 Nicollet,
also known as the Rau-Barber building. Home to a husband & wife photography team, this loft-like space is actually
a photography studio. Lucky for us, they also rent it out for private events. If you're curious and take a look
at the photos on their website - it's an amazing space!
